The intraoral camera is a device about the size and shape of a pen, that can take either photos or videos of the inside of the mouth and transfers them directly to the computer screen.
The enlargement helps the dentist to see the areas that are not easily seen with the naked eye, and as such can be used to detect tooth decay and cracks that may be on the top surface of the back teeth for example.
