THE EXTRACTION PROCESS:
The process of extraction that is followed at the VSmile dental clinic, strictly maintains the following stages:
- a full medical and dental history that any preventative measures cna be taken (e.g. antibiotics) or for people with special health issues such as heart conditions
- A digital x-ray of the mouth and in some cases a panoramic x-ray so there is a complete view of each patient's unique case
- local anesthestic with as little pain as possible
- tooth extraction using the most modern surgical methods
- thorough cleaning of the cavity
- the placing of a hemostatic and antibacterial sponge in the cavity
- covering with a gauze or stiches (for surgical extraction or for coagulating is needed)
- verbal and written post-surgical instructions
- check-up after 7-10 day and removal of stiches (if they were needed)
