Digital Intraoral X-ray:
a safe and detailed diagnosis!
At the VSmile Piraeus dental surgery we have a digital x-ray machine with a CCD sensor, usign which we can received high definition digital intraoral x-rays, at the same time protecting the patient from high doses of radiation (80%-90% less than normal x-rays)
The image from the x-ray appears on the screen almost immediately, only a few miliseconds after the image has been taken, without the time delay of classic x-rays.
Using the digital x-ray we can collect detailed information regarding the situation of the teeth and jaw, beyond that that can be seen during the clinical exam. Digitally we are able to see 3D and take measurements.
The x-rays are immediately available and can be sent via e-mail to the insurance companies of the patients.
